Since the dawn of man, humans have been throwing stuff at other stuff. Why? Because it’s fun. Axe throwing is just taking that to the next level. As an indoor competitive sport, axe throwing has taken off in Canada over the past decade as a private game and even in leagues. Similar to darts, axe throwing is an individual sport played with and against other members of a group. Individuals throw 2 lb. hatchets at wooden targets marked with a bullseye and score points based on where on the target they stick the axe. In the last year axe throwing clubs have been popping up in all the hottest parts of cities like Chicago and Philadelphia, and now Louisville is ready to join the ranks with it’s very own, you can even join a league. Price:
$20/Hour (Each Thrower)
YOU MUST WEAR CLOSED-TOE SHOES WHILE THROWING!

Walk-ins:
– Walk-ins are always welcome
– No group minimums, but subject to Cage availability
– Half-hour ($10) sessions available

Advanced Bookings:
– 4 thrower minimum to reserve a Cage*
– Limit of 8 throwers/Cage
– Book any available cage. Coaches will place your group when you arrive.
– Catering services available upon request.

Age Restrictions:
13+ years old before 8 PM**

Do you all provide the equipment we need?

-We supply the targets, the axes, and a coach. All you need is your enthusiasm to learn!

Can kids do this?

-We can host kids as young as 13 with a legal guardian who can sign their waiver for them. You must be 21+ to purchase beer.

Can we take pictures or videos while we are there?

-You can, and we completely encourage it!

Is there an Axe-throwing league?

-We will launch our leagues very soon, stayed tuned!

What are the rules of the game?

-Games are played 1-on-1, each player gets 5 throws. Each throw is worth between 1-5 points based on accuracy. The highest score wins. Best of 3 games wins the match.
