Heat – Letitia Quesenberry Hosted by Quappi Projects on the First Friday Hop

Join us for the inaugural exhibition in our brand new NuLu space.

Letitia Quesenberry’s (((heat))) opens Friday, August 2. The creative efforts of Louisville-based Quesenberry focus on questions of visibility and perceptual ambiguity. She employs layering techniques of semitransparent materials to create objects that are both static and full of unpredictable motion; as a result, her work hypnotizes, mesmerizes, and enthralls. Channeling ideas about invisibility and queer identity into recent works that include abstracted forms and symbols suggestive of female power and energy, Quesenberry explores the boundaries of visual experience.

The event is at 827 E Market St, Louisville, KY 40206
