New Works by Vian Sora at Moremen Gallery

Just Arrived: New Works by Vian Sora

Trying to proceed with optimism while living through a pandemic is challenging, but Sora found it achievable through the practice of painting. With her sense of missing life and normalcy heightened, Sora focused on aesthetic pleasures. She has painted anxiety, missing and excitement for a return to life. Scenes of imaginary bathers, melting forests and hybrid forms take over the new canvases and dominate spaces of lush and fertile unknown landscapes.
