Montage Lives! at 1619 Flux
1619 Flux: Art + Activism, is proud to present our newest exhibition, “Montage Lives! Our Artistic Past Informs The Future”. Featuring works of art from members of the historical artist collective “Montage”.
In the 1970’s sculptors Ed Hamilton, William M. Duffy and artist Gloucester Caliman Coxe grouped with fellow African-American artists to form Montage, an artists collective that worked with young artists in an effort to show them how to improve and exhibit their work.

PYRO gallery hosts “Finding Home,” curated by member artist Susie Harrison. This group show runs from March 28 to May 4 at the gallery’s home, 1006 E. Washington Street in Louisville, Kentucky. We’re open for First Friday Gallery Hop this Friday, May 3rd from 6-9 PM.
Please stop by Friday Derby Eve. We are open 1-9. It’s one of the quietest gallery hops of the year. Art lovers don’t mind. Derby is also that one time of year where we get asked for equine art. We have some. Come see it along with the latest LEO staff Pick ‘lazy susan’ show by Joyce Garner at 642 E. Market St.
